Angel Food Ministries: Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 32 states. Dependency Recovery Group: A group for those struggling with alcohol, drug or other dependencies, which meets on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.
Bound to Glory: A women's prision aftercare outreach that provides through donation: basic household items, furniture, clothing and hygenie. Steppin' Up: A study and support group for step-parents and blended families, which meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Financial Peace University: A study series and support group which meets as needed for people who want to be better managers of their finances.
Counseling Ministry: Ministry of personal counseling and pastoral care for those with spiritual or personal problems.
Food Pantry: A supply room stocked with food by the church for those in need who request food.
Help Chest:
A special Montgomery Church account, funded by designated contributions to aid members who need temporary financial help.
Prayer Team:
A ministry group that prays on Sunday mornings for the church and those who request prayer, then follows up with notes of encouragement.
Mom to Mom: A ministry to provide encouragement, mentoring and education to mothers, especially single mothers.
ABQ Christian Children's Home: Residential long-term home for at-risk children, for which Montgomery Church provides financial and hands-on support.
East Central Ministries (formerly AIM): A ministry of Christian community development in the La Mesa/Trumbull neighborhood, which providing Bible studies, addiction recovery program, and mentoring in economic enterprise, supported by Montgomery Church.
Interfaith Hospitality Network: An interchurch ministry, in which Montgomery Church participates, that helps homeless families by providing shelter and food for a week at a time until they are able to find jobs and housing.
CareNet: A support group for the Albuquerque Pregnancy Center, which makes quilts and provides other baby supplies for women with unplanned pregnancies who choose birth instead of abortion.
Tea with Friends:
A ministry that organizes tea parties for special groups of women: a Victorian Tea in December to encourage pregnant women who have chosen birth over abortion, a Mother’s Day Tea in May for Albuquerque Christian School kindergartners and their mothers and a tea in the fall with female UNM students from the Christian Student Center.
